I have carried a neck knife for a backup for my pistol. I have used it 2 cut someone out of am overturned car. Still I have people that act like there is something wrong with me for being prepared for whatever happens. They are always the first people 2 ask me 2 use my folder when they need 2 cut something 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️ I have been watching your channel on and off for a couple years. Greg, you hit it out of the park again! I like these series videos. They are educational too. Oh and I just picked up another relentless, for in the car in case I left home without one. Thanks again! I gotta say that Jersey is comfortable. After trying it on I noticed it’s just thick enough to hide all the edc blades. They just disappear. You know Kathy recommended it. It was a good choice.

I conceal carry an 8 inch, overall blade. 4 inch handle with a 4 inch blade. Reverse draw for quick deployment and time on target. Yes I do have a pressure target for training specifically for speed, and can get a full stab on the target in under 0.26 of a second from a neutral stance. I train daily, and I do stress drills, basically to the point of exhaustion, so gross motor skills need to be used. I find 4 inch blades with 4 inch handles are the most effective, it's the Goldilocks length for not only concealment but also for ease of carry and the best handle length for indexing. The knife that I carry is a Lotar Combat, OREV Gen 2 Sicari 8" concealed carry. Sorry that it isn't a Bone tactical, I do wear your occlusion bracelet and carry the C.A.N.K. first gen model as a neck knife for my daily user. Great video and keep them coming out brother.

I wear my CANK scout carry on front left of my zipper. From there I can reach it (cross draw) with my right hand, and because of its smaller size the handle doesn’t print through my shirt. When wearing tank top and gym shorts I wear the relentless knife as Greg demonstrates here. Since it looks like jewelry or a badge holder no one thinks a knife is attached. The money Traveler Belt will hold heavier items. I have one and can personally attest to this. It holds the Kogatana which was also made/sold by BT, but also supports a medium sized can of pepper spray for those of you who might need to escalate nonlethal self defense in possibly a non-life threatening situation. The belt’s shape and pouch is also unnoticeable even OWB. I use it for cash and a wallet. Since it’s form fitting fits it goes unnoticeable even when worn OWB with an untucked shirt covering it. The El Sicario shirt accomplishes this well. I mean if you’re gonna buy it anyway you might as well get a shirt to go with, saves money on shipping too.

Awesome video, thanks for always contributing to the community 🤘🏼I feel like your Kogatana could be in the video for larger sized people. I mean I’m 6ft 170lbs I often carry a knife 9” OAL by sliding it in my front right pocket and using an Ulti-clip(clip where you normally carry a folder), sure the handle sticks out but a shirt will cover it and cool thing is when you sit down it won’t poke you. Also I like Scout carry (front or back).
@BoneTactical2 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure but the Kogatana actually wasn’t available to the public at the time of the making of this video
@A_Meek_lake_Dweller2 жыл бұрын
Your method of carry in the front pocket is the most advantageous IMHO. You can hook your thumbs in your front pockets and not look threatening and have a hand on your blade. A kydex sheath with a wider opening to funnel the knife back to the sheath after use has become a criteria. Love the ulti-clip!
@JensenAzotea2 жыл бұрын
@@A_Meek_lake_Dweller I just ordered the Kogatana so I’ll have to report back when I figure out how best to carry that blade for the way I operate. Depending on sheath retention I may even try as a neck knife. Just don’t want it to pop out when I jump out of the back of my semi

@ngut59152 жыл бұрын
That is not really a solution for a tucked in shirt situation. Do you know how difficult it is for someone who is in the most stressful situation of their life to pull out a tucked in shirt? It's basically impossible to do fast unless you trained it a lot. (And pulling the knife out the top of the shirt may not even be an option in the first place due to a tie for example) So testing different methods of carry to find out what works best for you and training your draw regularily is the actual solution to that specific problem. Edit: let me clear up the misunderstanding before it happens: those knives can most definitely be used to solve that problem, but simply carrying one of them won't do you much good. I'm pretty sure the art of war contains something along the lines of 'good warrior without good tools beats the best equipped of bad warriors' so the point is skill comes first and only then does the quality/fancyness of the equipment truly come into play.

On the issue of folding knives.. if you carry a folder for self defense obsolutely must train on how to deploy the knife and then fight with it. Fixed blades are really good for all purposes.
