The lower the mmr the more you need to farm as a support. Your team will never play that efficiently that the every part of the map is getting farmed. But the higher you go the more you will see map utilization and the less you have to farm.

I went from Crusader to high Legend. My farm as a support went way down, there's just less shit I can go to farm myself, everything's pushed and farmed.

@@SinisterMJ that just means you need to start doing real support stuff more but never stop farming if you found opportunities to farm. In pubs the team with the higher networth usually wins... even pos 5 or 4 are part of that networth increase it.

Higher mmr know how to get farm without farming, warding , stacking and not dieing is the best way to increase networth/mmr as support otherwise ur hurting ur team by farming... unless ur crusader or below 😂

@@kp2nator Thats not entirely true. If you look at the stats for support heros, the higher in rank you go, the lower the networth graph. A low level support can just farm more cause there's more available on the map, the cores are a lot less efficient. Example: Core Luna, Herald, 20 mins: avg 7362g Core Luna, Divine, 20 mins: 9490g Support Warlock, Herald, 20 mins: avg 4344g Support Warlock, Divine, 20 mins: avg 3931g Its not that the Divine support doesn't know how to last hit / farm, its just that there is nothing available for him.

I'm a crusader 5 myself and a support too, and I have to say I learn a lot from these videos. In this particular one, tho, what I notice is that BSJ wins the game based basically on his game/map awareness and understanding where people are and where they should be, which is a skill sooo hard to practice.

you can combine these two if you have some survivability, like ogre, cm or kotl with glimemr etc, and be bait for your team either you get farm and push out waves or take away enemy jungle or your team gets either a pickoff or only loses a support

@@phunweng962 Dude I play hood alot and hood is better than cm with maelstrom. but the enemy team its like they don't have time they pushed us so hard ( Brood - Beast master - Visage ) these type of hero they can be in your base under 20 min or they will follow you around in low mmr nobody care about the side lanes and split psuhing that's why arc in low mmr can 1 vs 5. as pos 4 you have nothing to do btw my mmr is 5.2K divine 4

I have started to play carry offlane primarily like Ammar_The_Fucker. I have gained 2 stars on my Guardian rank in 3 days. I watched a lot of BSJ and other streamers to how to read matchups and lane equilibrium. In most matchups now, I am more farmed than enemy carry while playing offlane

@@tylerreis-sanford5234 As a support player: having to pick up the slack, farming where I really shouldn’t be because the carry can’t play the map right, 4 position that thinks they have to buy out all of the wards when they have no real concept of where vision needs to go(they always put 3 wards on our side of the map when we’re ahead and they immediately get dewarded giving the enemy a vision advantage). I got past this rank by playing cm, farming just like this video and building blink > gem > boots of bearing. Every single game.

I play a lot of games with Russians (unfortunately) and they will not hesitate to spam the report button for the most stupid things, like for example in this example game, I would've got reports for A) "Pushing the lane" with my spells, B) "Taking mid from sniper", C) "Farming lanes" (when I'm actually pushing them), D) Farming Jungle... etc.

So I haven't played dota in 7 years. The matchmaking has been insanely bad. It's almost like the game still thinks I am high MMR. While I am actually very very bad. And people are hating and being toxic to me. How do I get my MMR fixed? I don't want to keep doing this to people. I thought by now my MMR would have been reset?

It's because even the people in lower MMR have developed past you. 7 years is a long time. Just keep playing (and losing), and you will eventually drop down to your own level. And be sure to re-calibrate your MMR if the option is available.

DotA is about objectives not kills. There wasn't pressure on the enemy,teammates were feeding and have low game sense and knowledge. If CM didn't build those items,game would've been lost because team was trash. If this was rank 1 DotA, Naga would be doing what CM was doing and CM wouldn't need to carry. If BSJ wasn't coach,they probably would have lost because the team is bad. Mechanical skill but little DotA knowledge and gamesense. This is also why you see people who supposed to win,lose.

Cast your minor spells, and save your bkb and if you have a channeled spell till he uses ult. It is a game of chicken, whoever breaks first loses. And we aren't really talking about leaning here but teamfights. A right clikcing core can bkb and walk up to him and start hitting. He can't do much if the core has a disable like slardar, WK, sven, etc.

I'm surprised BSJ didn't even once suggest to by raindrops, shard or bkb, even if you get the attack speed talent bkb is still essential on cm here, instead he suggested lotus and linkens which never got used properly. Shard is also essential in most games but especially in games like this where you have a shit ton of utility you don't want to cancel your ulti because you need to save someone with force or something. BSJ seems to think CM can only do one of 2 things, either spam Q and W from behind or build for freezing field, but with shard and a lot of utility you can (and should) do both.

However, because his team literally proceed to feed in stupidest ways possible, he identified this as a way to prevent this from happening. In the end, they won because of CM supporting sniper, it was very clear.

Too much magic damage for raindops Shard is only useful with ult which silencer cancels. Bkb only useful with ult but silencer ult goes through bkb which makes bkb useless. Linkens was for sniper so he don't die to silencer hex and right click. Lotus was to dispel silence on team. CM was playing for the win. And because BSJ saw the weakness in his team and played around it and they won. DotA is a team game. If team is trash,you give up or get better and help team to win.

PLEASE CAN DOTA ADD A FEATURE, where ALL supports/heros can get vision JUST on a cliff ONLY if there is a sentry ward there and up to the zone it covers. Im TIRED of having to use my courier for vision if i don't have a spell that allows me to see on the high grounded pillar, and i think it's really minor but also huge and somehow unfair, but definitely could affect the meta so that other supports can be picked more often.

Sentries do give vision but only when you plant it and only for about 5 seconds and if you knew this then asking for less work isn't in the spirit of DotA. If the top people in DotA have to do it,you can. If you don't want to,you lose the benefits.

If i hide the sentry in the bush you dont get 5 seconds of vision on the cliff and im not gonna put a sentry on the cliff because then theyre going to deward it way quicker and you get less vision around open areas especially when they have invis heros. Sometimes they dont see the sentry in the bush too and then they put another ward there and you can get 2 wards with 1 sentry if you are quick enough. The top people in dota cant do it. Its literally not a feature. It would have to be a new button feature for all heros to look up a cliff for vision ONLY if there is a sentry ward zoned in the cliff. And not giving vision around the cliff to keep fairness and only on the cliff for lets say 5 seconds. Because it is unfair that CM as a support can look at the top with her Nova, but a pudge support hook goes over the cliff and you dont get any vision, and they cant make pudge give vision with his hook that would be wrong and this is just 1 hero example. Its definitely a feature they could easily implement. And thats how it is unfair for certain heros. Its a simple fix

Like with couriers since now you get a free courier but you can't buy 1 anymore. The only way i see this feature getting in is to make the gameplay different so its more interesting. I think giving vision on every spell similar to pudges might cause gameplay issues because of lingering vision. Also it might just be a pain to code or its not something important since its more quality of life stuff.

Where instead of heros its for wards only if there is a sentry in the zone, and only on cliffs. I use my courier for vision all the time. Even constanly using it as bait if a teamate is low or about to die. This feature could only balance all the heros out and actually and cause people not to have to use their courier which would be really handy especially when youre waiting on items... which is dumb because while a cm can have vision on a cliff, and pudge doesnt. Lions stun doesnt give either, wd maledict doesnt give either. So it would just be a simple feature of a scan. It just balances support heros out more. And would only make the game way more competitive and more fair based on hero picks. I think itd change the meta slightly aswell as other suports would definitely be picked more often in higher tier brackets.

@@lil_ipsi_lea i don't think it would necessarily balance the game. What would probably happen is meta change and faster gameplay. But you also forget that pudge can out carry a cm. Same with wd,shaman,even dazzle was once a carry. CM has basically been a 4,5 in the pro scene so. In comparison to alot of supports,cm lacks alot of multi-role. Pudge,especially recently, is now a core. Dazzle has healing,control,damage,buffs etc,shaman can push towers,chen,rubic,aa,disruptor etc. Lion and lich are probably the closest in terms of role ability. Cm is basically like jug,a sort of reliable hero. Don't forget she has terrible move speed aswell as trash attack speed and base damage. Personally she is balanced to me since her weak points are really trash and her strength is killed by a silence. But if they did add this,it would be interesting and new but also a pain to implement but it wouldn't really balance, it would just give non-supports a support ability and make cores abit more independent. Also pudge support is really griefy,i hope you play him well if you do.

It´s quite sad, that carry players in our rank are doing the same (being in jungle/chasing and feeding), while lanes are pushed towards us. Then there start blaming of support being on lane and literraly the only one, who push the lane back :)

depends on people but i ve seen also winter wyvern/jakiro with boots of travel first item (or second) shoving lanes immediately, like... we are in fight and they instant tp (without pointing out and asking the cores to do so). Well, I am a support and i usually spam "defend tower", if nobody goes, I tp then
