Episode 1 (Offlane/3): kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJLTnZ2ZmZh_Y80 Episode 2 (Carry/1): kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnrQY6qIrb2kibs Episode 3 (Hard Support/5 - Part 1): kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6aphZt5j5Z3bK8 Episode 4 (Hard Support/5 - Part 2) kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJiQgHSoea2Ngq8 Due to the success of the series, we have decided to make this a weekly format. This is not escaping the trench, it's not going to be a grind for ego purposes. This will simply be applying 9k techniques in each of the respective positions to make people aware of the skills and techniques you can use in your own lower mmr games. This is strictly for educational purposes. This game had an abandon, so there was a second game played strictly for hard support/position 5. That second game will be uploaded tomorrow, as a "part 2".

I am very interested in the 5 videos, but please do not make this a weekly series after you finish all 5 positions. Playing a ranked game with a smurf account really sucks, and lower MMR players tend to play less Dota. Imagine what it’s like when you realize you had no chance the one game you had time to play that day and wasted 45 mins of your life. No one wants to see more smurfs in their games.

@@MichaelSotoCE It won’t ruin the ladder, but it will ruin one game a week for 9 people. And, more importantly, it will be perceived as justification that it is ok for others to smurf and (this is clearly just IMO) increase the number of people that want to do it/try it to see what it’s like for them doing what BSJ is doing. Actions by highly visible pros and streamers definitely have impact on the community, whether they like it or not.

BSJ seemed suprised, when he was 5-man ganked, after he has passed the river to farm the top lane. I can tell you, this is the most normal thing in the 1k trench. If they see a support farming after the river, the entire enemy team is usually gonna run towards you as in, "who will get him first". xD

The good laning phase given to the jugg is kind of the easy part. Winning your lane is pretty straight forward most of the time. Fight hard in the first minute, disengage before death, heal up while pulling. Fight after a pull is completed. Control the enemy without over committing. All easy concepts. The mid game decision making was what I was looking for. Completely absent from this video due to you basically becoming the mid laner at the 5 minute mark. You play like a mid laner, which is a different concept entirely, but it works since your pick doubled as a mid once you're about level 4. The stupid part is that this is very similar to what low MMR feels like. The concept that your mid laner is absent is, in fact, what happens in low mmr. Nobody wants to push waves. It is nothing but 3 cores rotating around the jungle trying to scrounge up gold for an item that they don't understand how to use. The only people who show on minion waves are supports, who desperately try to make space for the 3 jungle cores. Then people try to gank the supports if they push too far. Rinse and repeat until you're at the 50 minute mark when cores start deciding to emerge from their jungles with about 3 items. Its a strange place.
@Dimens1oner
@Dimens1oner 3 жыл бұрын
In a game like that, you can then have 4 items as a pos5, but im not saying that is easy living anyways, im in the same shitstorm trying my hardest as the pos1 getting ganked as my pos5, pos4 pos3 pos2 are all jungling and im just asking can u farm the lanes atleast :D

@@danielhughes6896 Maybe for 5 people, but they have to understand in order to win they have to learn, it's only 30mmr. If they went to watch the replay, they would see what needed to be done better. @justinroy3769
@justinroy3769 3 жыл бұрын
@@danielhughes6896 wdym? Honestly thats free mmr right there for the enemy in bsj's video. They can watch the replay in really see how a SMURF does it, because there bracket doesnt know shit so you barely learn anything. These smurfing videos really fix the low mmr bracket because it tells the people agaisnt the smurf to "GET GUD" and to really stop there bad habits. I played agaisnt a smurf recently and he kept saying I was so bad, watching back the replay and seeing wow "he does this and that, ph why does he go there or over here" and after analyzing that replay i played better in my mext gameand the next and so on. Its ppl like you who complain about "Oh I cant win because theres a smurf" whens its the SAME thing to say "Oh i cant win because one of the enemy is BETTER than me". Like youre probably not going to be playing agaisnt smurfs ALL THE TIME so you might as well take that lost game, watch it, and see WHY THE SMURF IS SO MUCH BETTER. Educational smurf vids like the ones BsJ does are really helpful because you see his thought process. I guarantee you that the random smurfs in your games just know a couple of things that your bracket doesnt know or really do so he abuses them and wins. I played against another smurf but this time I knew how to carry the game and I actually punished him a lot because he didnt expect that someone in my bracket knew what he was doing, and what happens then? Either they respond and try harder or they fuck up cause they dont know what to do because they didnt expect to have another "smurf" agaisnt them. See? Just git gud

Idk about allowing smurf is a good thing, but man we do need this kind of content just for the sake of education. If I can take away something after fighting smurf I'll be glad even if I lost badly instead of playing normal game where u hardly learn anything. Im not saying that I can't learn it from normal game. But comparing to seeng this kind of clip, it pales in comparison.. Good job BSJ appreciate it. Even if after 5 game you still do this just to nail that fundamental for us with different situation, I'll make sure to watch and shout out to you to offset that hate comments about smurf, oh and the like button of course.

Tip for any jakiro players. Attack and cast range items help with liquid fire. Hurricane pike and I think still Aether lens increases the liquid fire cast. You can cast out of range of hooks and many abilities and as long as you have creeps can ship away. You might have to go for ranged racks first but it's still good to know.

I've been lost af recently (dropped from 6k to 5.4) trying to play offlane in this patch. The mars vid changed all of my offlane ideals and how I approach the lane. Back up to 5.5

Like to hear more about your matchup thoughts in game. When Axe contested your pull was great to hear the comment on you being safe since the creeps were there. How you know to bully Spectre in mid? Or fight CM when he rotated. Etc. Is it level? Abilities? Hero's alive on map? I struggle on when to man up and when to run.

Liking the smurf videos man and the main takeaway appears to be "push lanes more often, never let your lanes be pushed in". However if I played exactly the way you played this game in a 2k losing game, I'd be flamed and reported, probably ping spammed for most of the game. I know because I've been trying to convince people in 2k bracket for years that lane pressure matters, but these people can't get out of the "teamfight is the only point of dota" mentality. Usually I end up giving in and joining the idiots for yet another lost teamfight, yet another 1k gold handed to enemy team. I do so only because if I don't, I'd quickly end up with behaviour score of

Hey BSJ, i am trying to use Jakiro lately also. With your tactic, Veil seems to be a decent item also. Both for sustain and offensive purposes. What would you recommend?
