Brother I travelled with my dog from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar in Rajdhani Express. I booked in First Class, as we were two individuals we needed a Coupe and we got one. After the Chart was out we went to the Parcel Office on Ajmeri Gate side. It took only 5 mins for the booking. Charges were Rs 725. Staff there in Delhi were very helpful. One more thing brother If on that day I had not got a Coupe then they will refuse to book at the Parcel office. As we were two individuals, Coupe is a must.

The most important thing is : your ticket should be "confirmed" not in the waiting list. If it's on the waiting list the parcel department will not allot a ticket for your pet. Fortunately the confirmation chart is prepared only 4 hrs before the train departs from its origin station.

Want to share a very bad experience...Since I got cabin not coupe ...TC was the new generation mogambo ...n did not allow my pet into the same ...P.S Co passengers in the Ac first class cabin readily agreed ...but TC felt like he owns the Train Train Name : DDN HWH SPCL

Sometimes pets guard van k box mein rehke bohot shor machaate hain akele hone k vajah se, andhera, cleanliness, train movement, track sound, unknown face (guard/EOG Staff)....maine dekha hain k kabhi koi guard uss pet owner ko same cabin mein allow karte hain for animal's comfort...
