I can't watch Malcolm Moore. I think he's very tall. This makes him clumsy on a snowboard. I watch other instructors. Ans I don't learn from Bennett. I don't like his technique it's very neurotic and not smooth

Thanks for the great vids, very helpful. My stance is +15/-15, does it make it harder to carve like this. Im goofy and my back leg also seem to come to the front more than I want, so when I try to carve on heel side, it skids.

Tommy- watching your toe side carve, it looks like your back knee is bending more over the toe edge and your front knee is bending more forward- toward the nose. Is that purposeful or a function of your stance?

This is more style than anything because I like getting my back need to be close to the ground so I can touch it. I suppose it’s my own little flare.

I might be wrong but I'd attribute that to the bindings stance. For all-mountain/carving, the back foot tends to be at a lower angle than the front foot, that would cause the leg to bend more naturally over the edge (back) and over the nose (front)

I've always told new riders lean with your shin for your toe edge, the rest will come naturally
