Hi, useful clear videos, thanks. How about Newton exchange for cashing out instead of NDAX? why you didn't use that? thanks
@cryptoforcanadians7 ай бұрын
NDAX's prices are cheaper. Newton's only more economical if you're cashing out less than $100 worth of crypto. This is because of NDAX's $1.5 cash withdrawal fee but can be made up with better prices.

If buying coins on Coinbase is cheaper than Newton, What are the withdrawal fees to Bitget for both platforms? Or which way is the cheapest overall via e-transfer to fund and then withdraw to another wallet? Thank you.
@cryptoforcanadians7 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what Coinbase's withdrawal fees are on their coins as it's dynamic I believe. As for Newton, the first $5 in miner fee is covered which will be majority of the time. Not sure what you mean. What exactly are you trying to do?
@SaintAriyel8 ай бұрын
Random question. What do you think is the best option if I have crypto on a cold wallet, but want to to trade it for another crypto, then transfer it back to cold wallet? I can use most of the platforms you mention for canadians. My guess is Newton or Shakepay, but interested in your opinion. Thanks!
@cryptoforcanadians8 ай бұрын
Bitget's withdrawal fees are reasonable so I'd probably send the coins there and swap it and send back to your cold storage wallet. That said, if you're interested in Bitget, here's a link to save 20% on your trade fees: partner.bitget.com/bg/l87j35641689827277614. Hope that helps!

@cryptoforcanadians8 ай бұрын
Sending and receiving USD in Canada has their own set of fees and complications. You're best to stick with CAD in my opinion.
@Christopher.Capital8 ай бұрын
@@cryptoforcanadians I haven't done the math yet, but I know people who use Wise for their currency conversions, or holding multiple currencies, instead of dealing with a bank acct. It looks like it may be a good alternative way to go. Send CAD to your Wise acct. and convert into USD at spot conversion, just pay a small fee... And then send that USD to crypto exchange of choice. Not sure about any other fees, or if it'll even work yet, but looks like something that may be a good way to go

Hi, what can you tell us about Bull Bitcoin? Is it suitable for Canadians compared to NDAX and others?
@cryptoforcanadians8 ай бұрын
I personally don't use them because I find them to be expensive and there are cheaper ways to buy BTC in Canada. I assume that you're looking at buying and withdrawing the BTC upon purchase because you're interested in them. That said, you're best to go with either Newton or Shakepay if you plan on withdrawing somewhat frequently. Check out www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/buying-crypto to see how they compare. Hope that helps!

@kiindunil another thing to consider is the withdrawal fee on each coin. It’s better to consolidate into USDC and withdraw that for free (right now anyways) than pay the individual withdrawal fee on your coins you plan on cashing out anyways.

Here are some ideas. Try restarting your device or use another device entirely before trying to do the verification again. You also may want to contact Ndax's support and ask them about that. I'm not sure why you're having that issue. It would seem like it's more of device issue than an issue with Ndax in my opinion. Yes there is but it's more expensive, you okay with that?

Coinbase would be the best to fund Bitget. Check out this video on funding Bitget in Canada: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6fYfmOYfMh_oK8. If you're going with Newton, you would want to withdraw via polygon. Keep in mind, that converting USDC into CAD on NDAX will cost ~1.5%, compared to the actual USD/CAD conversion rate at the time you do it... Something to consider. May be better options out there for some...
@cryptoforcanadians8 ай бұрын
Yes I've already taken the spread into consideration but where are you getting the 1.5%? Right now their USDC is ABOVE market value. 1 USD is 1.3702 CAD but on NDAX 1 USDC is 1.3730 CAD. The only fee is the 0.2% because their spread is essentially at market value on USDC. Trust me, there aren't better options there.
