Honestly, even if it's not for any health issues, one simply does not mess with people's food (unless someone keeps stealing your food and verbally reprimanding them was not enough. Messing with your own food I think is okay, as they're not the person intended to eat it). Regardless of whether it's secretly mixing in meat for vegan/veggie food or vice versa (I also hate the "secretly giving someone vegan meat substitute to trick them into thinking it's real meat, only to then do the "gotcha, it's vegan!" thing) or whether it's giving non-halal meat to Muslims or non-kosher food to Jews... it's not just dangerous in some cases, but also plainly disrespectful.

I follow kosher and am recovering from a lesser known ED(avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder or ARFID) so I'm currently dealing with starvation syndrome, something being wrong with my food can mean I will starve myself for days sometimes as I'll probably throw it back up or gag on it. I also have allergies to some stuff in food and maybe some kind of gluten intolerance?? So cross contamination is a big no no, not anyphalxsis worthy like my allergies to perfume and acrylic textiles but still pretty bad like itchy skin violently upset stomach fighting for my life on the toilet all that fun stuff. Messing with peoples food can be potentially life threatening and I do not get how op found that "prank" funny. Can confirm. Wedding ring is like catnip to women. Shows you're already vetted by another woman as worthy, and women - being inherently jealous beings - will want that for themselves. The number of women who wanted me when I had my ring on more than doubled when i was in USAF Tech School, and that environment pretty much breeds ill conceived relationships. Got divorced not long after I got to my first base, and I was PIIIIISED because I was a good loyal husband the whole time, and there were many opportunities for me to be bad! Dropped the ring, and my prospects practically vanished. Also: For the less shady women, the ring bestowed something akin to gay privilege. Safe male friend to hang out with and confide in, and of course fall for anyways. If for nothing else, I could hate my ex for making me miss all the real guaranteed opportunities I had with some awesome women. Not just fooling around, though that would have been fun too. Didn't have that kind of magnetism till I sewed on my 4th stripe, which of course meant I wasn't supposed to fraternize with the lower ranks, so that was a push. ...mostly ;)

It could be that because they have a ring now, they notice when people hit on them more because they know it's an appropriate, versus when they were single and they didn't notice, it could be that certain people do like being homewreckers and they find married men attractive, or it could be a mixture of both. But I don't think they're bullshiting.

I got a GOOD one for a "catch a food thief" spicy PB&J! First use spicy jelly, then mix in ghost pepper powder or something heavily into the PB and carefully spread that on. It if makes it "look weird" cover the edges with normal PB. Person bites into that they can say goodbye to their tongue. Maybe if you're lucky the spicy PB gets stuck to the roof of their mouth.

11:23 is especially malicious (if intentional) as children typically run into books with these puzzles at either medical appointments where the parents &/or children are feeling miserable/anxious or on a road trip where parents are feeling frustrated/anxious/disoriented &/or the children are feeling uncomfortable/restless/bored/excitement! Adding a puzzle that sets kids up to fail & get more frustrated, then try to get parents who maybe sick/miserable waiting for appointment or the driver/navigation for a road trip where they're becoming more exhausted, short tempered, disoriented/lost, unintentionally gaslightIng their kid saying they wouldn't makes a puzzle with only 5 answers & ask to find six, that the kid needs to try harder & go on a spiel about how life won't always hand you the answers.

oof that one about men wearing a ring and suddenly getting MORE attention is so true. in HS, i got my first gf, and 5 girls who i had known for years and *knew* i was previously single, *knew* i was now in a relationship, and *knew* i had liked them in the past, suddenly all decided that they were going to try and steal me from my gf. never worked. me and my gf later broke up for unrelated reasons. suddenly the girls who i had considered my friends for a long time and were supposedly just *aching* to get with me (even up to the day of the breakup) no longer wanted anything to do with me, even just to comfort me after losing the first serious relationship of my life. i’m not bitter over it. but it is a big memory bc of how emotional it was
