great video and insane experience to fish for kings that size and strength. It would be easier to land massive fish when they are tired, let them swim first and let the drag put pressure against. Work with the reel, trust the drag and don’t lock them. Don’t be afraid the fish is letting out some line, it would be longer to land them, but it will give you more chances to lift that fish with your shoulder when the job is done.

Many a time , big fish got off of the hooks of a big lure (the trebble hooks are not big and effective enough). Probably a tripple gang hooks of size 6 upwards would be effective.
