With this new knowledge I have thanks to your vids I caught the most fish I have ever caught in a day yesterday and the circle hooks set themselves thanks mate keep it up

Enjoy the videos guys. I gotta ask tho, do you just let the keepers suffocate? It's the worst way to let them die and they do suffer. It affects the taste too. Here in Aus it's common to headstrike them or brain spike to instantly kill.

🤣🤣🤣 I'm reading the below comments on the drag...which yeah man it was too loose...something I learned as well is to buy a digital scale and get the feel to adjust the dial. I bought one to figure getting the 30% off rule to your mainline adjustment feel. Something to share beginners out there to have an idea. But awesome catches brotha about time I see real decent catches. And yes bridge slammers always come out at night. I've already noticed the difference on night summertime fishing. The water is cooler and ive seen schools of Tarpon, Snooks, Sharks, monster Groupers and nice size Snappers hitting from 9pm till sunrise. I had to upgrade to conventional reels and stronger heavy rods to fight these fish... it's been that crazy fishing and amazed to experience this style of fishing.

Hi Dude, I noticed at 1'22" of the video, you tied the sinker heavy end to your main line. Don't you think it is better to tie the heavy end of the sinker to the leader so that when you cast, the heavy end will be away from you, and cast further and swing the leader end away from main line? Unless you have other consideration that I am not aware of.

i really wish squiddy bits worked for me (tentacles) but i have barely had any luck. made some of my own salted shrimp and got my first ever rockfish (had to throw it back too small and not allowed right now). i’m very skeptical on the squiddy bits. i’ve used blood worms, nightcrawlers, shrimp, razor clams, on a top bottom rig and have only caught one small spot on the squiddy bits... and caught many fish on the non-squiddy bit hook. maybe i got a bad batch i don’t know. i will say its definitely tough and can’t stay on the hook for a long time... but that isn’t helpful if nothing bites it!

@Hey Skipper Hey you two I'm fairly new to watching your videos, but I'm working my way (slowly) through the backlog. I keep eyeballing your Squidybits kit (gonna buy it...its too tempting...) and last night was making some Boba for Boba tea, obviously. This got me thinking about how your bits of bait work and how cooking Boba works (boil water add sugar, add Boba boil for 10 min, profit). So I thought what about slow soaking uncooked boba balls in fish sauce and then salting them to use as a smelly tough bait. You seem to be highly innovative with the bits and since I'm full time work/full time school (online only) I'm a bit too busy to be experimenting a prototype fish bait. So a friendly challenge for you both! Use Boba balls to catch fish! Make a video! I'd love to see it!

Used to rent a charter boat out of Solomon’s island - the run to the oyster beds took a while, but when the fillets are 24” long, and the cheeks have been collected, it was worth it. I have a few citations from - I forgot the name of the marina... was it bunkys ? Or have I been here in Florida too long ? Best it remember - this is about when trophy rock season is ?
