It is a lot of fun catching crabs yourself. They seem to work better than buying a lot of the time, especially if you use them same day your going fishing. Algorithm is sending your videos my way haha, I was just telling someone I was going to go catch crabs for tomorrow morning. The tog bite is real good

Dude, im learning so much from watching this bait series. One of John Skinner's videos started out like this last year but he didn't explain anything. Thanks so much for this video I am so gonna try this at some point.

How do you keep them alive for like a couple days? Just add a piece of seaweed?

I’m in the south Jersey area (TI area) would I find rocky areas in the bay like this closer to the marshland or closer in to the barrier island along the sodbanks, bays and channels? not looking fir spots but rather which area I should look for.
@609Fishing3 жыл бұрын
Honestly any area where there is saltwater & rock coverage should hold them

Great Video - I think I have to use Google Earth to find new locations. My old spots are all picked out. Fishermen can take care of invasive crabs.
@609Fishing3 жыл бұрын
Yes they can, I’m fortunate I have a few spots that are a good distance of a walk 1/2-3/4 of a mile. So not many people are hitting it 😂

Any way to trap these Asian crabs, and not have to physically turn over rocks to catch them?
@609Fishing2 жыл бұрын
Yes but it takes a little longer & requires a trap with bait
@LBINICK2 жыл бұрын
@@609Fishing Any specifics on how to trap? In other words, if I take a typical minnow trap and open the entryways, and then put bunker inside, where do I have to put the trap, on land or underwater?
