Hello Andrew, nice video I found your channel a week ago and like it nice videos and tutorials also thanks for sharing your links for the stuff you are using, do you also got a link for the tackle box and gloves you are using in this video from Ali?

Welcome aboard! Gloves link was added to the video description. Box used is Korda Tackle safe (or NGT) and they do not exist on Ali yet to my knowledge.

Hi Andrew, what’s that little cone shaped sleeve you slide over your sinker called? I don’t think I’ve seen them here in the U.S., but I can definitely see it’s use and advantages.

@@AndrewsKnots Thank you. Ordered 3 spools of the green 0.2. Seem to have a sale as only £3.33 per spool with no shipping charge. Also ordered some of the soft plastic in the PA16. Just for information the J-braid x8 Grande uses a fibre that Daiwa state is 4x more abrasion resistant. The thinnest has a stated bs of 11lbs and a stated diameter of 0.06mm (I checked with a micrometer and found it did measure 0.06mm). But it is 3 times the price of the Kingdom. If you ever down in the West Country let me know as I have a few SUL and UL rods as yet untested including the JDM Abu Eradicator, Loomis GL2 U/L and a Leland TCB with a true rating of 1/64 - 1/8 oz. rating. Again thanks for your help as tested knowledge is invaluable.
@AndrewsKnots4 жыл бұрын
@@paulgiannetto8377 FYI, thinnest Daiwa X-braid or Grand stated at 0.06 mm. is not true.. It says also on the label PE0.6 which is true. If you would look for conversions tables you will see that PE0.6 is about 0.12 mm. which I agree with that thinnest Daiwa (stated 0.06 mm.) is. This thinnest Kingdom PE0.2 is much thinner than that Daiwa 0.06 mm..
@paulgiannetto83774 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewsKnots Much appreciate your information and look forward to comparing the Kingdom PE 0.2 braid. I've just checked my grand and it does state pe 0.6. What throws me is that if I set my micrometer to 0.06mm the grand easily enters and then slides easily up and down between the jaws. Go figure? The braid selection thing has been throwing me for a while.
