Just bought a drop shot set up rod reel etc on Saturday never fished since I was 9 with a stick going out mid week taking my brothers grandson who’s 7 with a life belt to ensure he’s safe .been watching loads of KZbin and reading articles etc and looking forward to trying this type of fishing. Rod License got. Started to watch you Trevor very good video and information gained. Thought face and name matched lived next door to your mum in buller st back in the day thanks will be watching your channel for more fishing tips 👍

That’s a good thing to do if the bites are shy, but if they’re biting aggressively then nose hooking it is fine 👍🏼

I thought there were rules regarding fishing near boats and not disturbing the people onboard. I would not advise anyone to fish in between boats. Certainly not as close as in the video, you risk upsetting the people onboard. You can fish facing a boat or barge that is moored on the opposite side. It is about everyone working together and being polite and respectful
