Grabbing the trout like that with a lure 2 table hooks is a good way to get a hook in your hand

Good video, cool on the Fat Boy mullet, that was interesting. One thing I’ve learned is that when you go shallow to switch to the slower sinking “floating” Fat Boy. I found your retrieve instruction most helpful on pace and pauses.
