Hi Warren. Sorry I only just saw this. I am not that familiar with Brisbane but anywhere that people catch winter whiting would be a good place to start.

Another tip with this rig is to cut the weight off the jig with a hacksaw. the jig will want to float and the action is better I think.

Hi Paul. I find it great for a family fishing holiday. If you search the Tackletactics page I did an article on the fishing there about 12 months ago. There will be an upcoming article about this holiday but it’s more focussed on the squid. I find it a great place to fish offering lots of options.
