Hi ladiesandtech, i have a compactlogix and need to replace the sd memory card. i cannot seem to do this easily, and i do not want to force the card out in case i break something and i end up with more problems than i began with. Can you please advise how i should do this? is there a button that i need to press in order for the card to eject? Or do i use a pair of pliers and pull it out while pushing the lock/hold flap to the side? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

If we change the card with the same model/part number, but with a different firmware version. Will we need to update something via the programming software or it will work just as plug-and-play?

Mohamed Riyas it depends. if you are replacing with the same card then no. if you get a different card with different configuration of inputs and output then yes because the addresses will change.
