Is cleaning part of the repair? From customer's perspective? Do you charge extra for that? Thanks!

Nice video, though if you have a racheting box wrench you will not need to remove the windshield wiper assembly and cowl. It reaches right in but the nuts are removed from inside, outside and then front.

Why use a breaker bar THEN impact wrench? I can see MAYBE for the bolts holding the strut to the knuckle if your impact is marginal, but for the wheels?

@@autodocuk OK - I was asking in case there was a specific reason for doing it that way, as it''s unusual to implement a breaker bar AND an impact wrench unless there is an issue.

Strange to see a US version with non US wheels... the conventional way to torque the MC pherson struts is ''wheels on the floor situation'' putting pressure from down with a jack for exemple. Need a front axle geometry adjustement.

85 Nm for lower strut bolt? more like 240 Nm, hopefully most people ignored that torque spec, considered the amount of torque required to unfasten it and sheer size of the bolt and nut itself
@autodocuk Жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right the correct torque is 153 Nm, this will be useful for us. Thank you for your consideration.
