I love how he does it in 10 minutes and I take 3 hours, mostly to get that stupid strut and shock out. Such a pain.

Nice vid. So I did mine and replaced both on my driverside. I put on the new ones and quickly realized there is no reference point for aiming them. In other words one could be high and the other low, a true conflict. Changing just one as you did you simply aligned it with the other old on you left on. What's the deal here? If I mount them high or low the new rubber bushing will tear prematurely..

Thank you for your feedback. It is recommended to tighten the bolts while the car is on its wheels. Best Regards, Autodoc team

In the minute 4:00 of this video, it is clearly seen that the replacement arm is different(straigth) from the original one (curved) and this will end up in some trouble, because they are not the same length and do not have the same angle. They are sligthly different. I experienced this problem which causes strange noises (kracking) while steerring. Solution: Replace exactly the same part number according to the VIN number of the vehicle.

Not at all - all fasteners removed in this video should have been renewed but it can be clearly seen mechanic in this video used the old fasteners.

Seems depending on the age of the car you might as well replace both control arms while you are in there.

The control arm bushing bolt needs to be tightened at ride height. Not just randomly
