Broooo thanks a lot man, this has been the main issue I have been stuck on for years, trying to find a short easy way to change the sample to the right tempo while still stayin even with that bpm clicker but not changing the pitch.... I did want to change the pitch of samples too but i wanted to do that manually after changing the tempo and now I can with the way u showed. This video jus changed the game for me lmao🤘

I've always right clicked on the sample and selected detect tempo, but this seems like a more effective way. good to know, wasn't what I was looking for but was still interested how you'd do this and if it was a better method.

every time I right click it erases my sample. I haven't done this since fl studio 9, and I'm on a mac now. Doe that change anything? I use a different keyboard and mouse though. Anyone got any helpful advice?

What about the opposite way? Can I automate the pitch without changing bom?
@Ryu5K6 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late response but if you don’t select auto and use automation by right clicking it and changing it manually. However when you change the tempo it will detune. if you’re looking to chop and screw a sample i recommend a different method.
@SiRgrEEns6 ай бұрын
is there a way to do these on all tracks at once?
@Ryu5K6 ай бұрын
One by one unfortunately but once you know how to do it you can set these on every track you import as you import them. so whenever you decide to change the bpm it shifts how it should.

what if i dont have project tempo ?
@Ryu5K6 ай бұрын
If you don’t have project tempo and you know the tempo of the original sample click “auto detect” instead and then click “bpm” and set it to the bpm the sample is played in. this bypasses the need to set it to project tempo. I actually learned this about 6 months ago

false again 3 yrs later lol....you change it to stretch not auto
@ianreed1404 Жыл бұрын
Still sounds off for me no matter stretch, stretch pro, or auto could it be I just put to bpm too fast for my sample to sound good now? The flute quality is all bubbly sounding now like mucus in the back of their throat playing the flute lmao do you know how to fix that? Or is just not gonna work
