Hey ThatBoatGuy . Nice one! One more hint out of the Toyota engine mechanical manual. I saw that you just installed the sensors and the connector cables were twisted: Before installing the oxygen sensor, twist the sensor wire counterclockwise 3 and 1/2 turns After installing the sensor, check that the sensor wire is not twisted. If it's twisted remove the sensor and reinstall it. Your video is from 2012 so I am not sure that you are still with your Celica - but maybe it helps someone in addition to your video. Came across this video and noticed this is a GT model. Will these Denso part numbers be compatible with the GTS? Getting a P0420 CEL code but thinking O2 sensors are the issue, not the Catalytic Converter. Had an O2 sensor CEL code come up mid last year but went away on its own.

hi bro thx for ur helpful video...my check engine light on now and code is p0420 there is 2 option for it 1- about catalytc converter has problem 2- o2 sensor has problem my car celica burning oil and suddenly i lost 70 mil with full tank gas i meean my millage down when the check engine lights on... so how i know which one is the my problem and should i change o2 or converter ?

Its the Cat. Mine done the same thing. We tested the o2's the cat was bad.

When I checked My OBD2 TEST > (PID VALUES)Short term fuel trim (Bank1,Sensor2) is showing 99.22%! (Bank1,Sensor1) is showing 1.56% could this be those sensors causing this problem?

Is this can be a problem from codes P300,P0301,P0302,P0304 witch is miss fire Random /Multiple Cylinder . I'll ready remplace OEM spark plugs,new four coils , new oil, oil filter,and a new gasket from the valves any other suggestion ?

Hi i just got cat fitted , week later having issues with acceleration , then im getting codes p0303 and p0420. But i have slight leak on ground, unsure if its exhaust or something else, can both these codes happen when this issue occurs on video? Thanks

Bought 2 o2 sensors form monkey wrench racing $90+18 for shipping And brand new cat from ultra exhaust canada for $200 , so yea not even close to the 500 mark and everything has been working soild for 4 months now.

If anyone is out here !! Will an o2 sensor make a car die in flight? And not start for a couple days ?? P0420 is the only code I get when I run the code. Car died wouldn’t star for a couple days now it’s starting.

No, a O2 sensor will not cause a car to die while driving and not start for couple of days. Most likely crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor
