In this video I show how to quickly replace a wall outlet for a new outlet. This is an exterior wall outlet that also had a weather protection box installed over it. Unfortunately, the outlet was not secured in the box and whenever plugging into the wall, the plug would push the outlet back from the surface and eventually the outlet became unusable altogether. I Use outlet spacers to allow for the new outlet to sit flush with the weather box and stay in place with use. This is a fairly straight forward installation and can be done for both interior and exterior outlets of this type. If your wiring is siginficantly different for some other components you may need to consult other videos for a specific case, but this should serve as a general look at the basic process.
As always, thanks for watching!
