Your video makes it look very simple. I have not installed one of these before, so I hope I don't have any issues with removing that piece of pipe that goes into the wall. If I end up having to call a plumber, my husband will be a real pain about it.

Stonetech grout stone sealer works excellent as a grout sealer! I highly recommend it! I’ve used it on my own shower grout. Just use ph neutral cleaners, if you don’t you will need to re apply it more frequently.

I am looking for engineered hardwood flooring for my home in CA. We are in CA. Do you have any higher end brands that you would recommend that can be floated? Many of the flooring places I have visited discouraged this. I do not like the glue down because it is not a comfortable to live on.

I'll never understand why plumbers do not use gloves - especially in a situation like this. Secondly, I agree with covering the pipe. I wish you well in this line of work.
@RemodelWithRobert15 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. I am definitely not a plumber, nor do I intend to become one, haha. I did this particular repair late on a Sunday night and was a bit more distracted than typical for me. You are right on both accounts that gloves and putting a rag in the closet flange would have been prudent.

Hi Robert, nice video, you were straightforward, concise, and you have such accurate verbiage (easy to understand) and everything was crystal clear in what the audience could see; your lighting was perfect. My question is about twisting the cable caps, I've noticed in the past that different technicians doing repairs twist the cable wires into themselves and then twist the cable caps, some go even as far as twisting the cables in a specific direction so that they then turn the cable caps in the direction that would seemingly screw them in and some folks like you did here push the cap on with the two cables side by side and then twist the cap. Is there a right way or which is the best way? Oh, another question would be how does one know what size cable caps to buy, I always see so many colors & sizes? Thank you and have yourself a wonderful 2025.

These cabinets would work out well for many uses. Is the utility room floor terrazzo? 4:05
@RemodelWithRobert23 күн бұрын
I agree. And the flooring is actually a terrazo inspired porcelain tile from daltile. It's 24"x48" with small grout lines so it creates a more uniform look
