That turned out fantastic! With a red belt and little embroidered bumblebees, perfection! Just need some sneakers, a big floppy hat, and a cute tote bag, and it's a perfect weekend outfit! ❤️

This is the video I've been needing. I have a beautiful white with black & royal blue print charmeuse blouse I got on clearance. It has a mock neck that needs a 'V' or scoop neck. Thanks for the tutorial.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this on dresses with zippers forever. Thanks! Like the new video style, too, with no background music, so we can focus on your instructions!

Thank you 😊 there is still music it’s just different & softer. I’m happy you enjoyed it & like my new style.

Do you make any adjustments to the facings based on the stretch factor of the fabric?
@SewAnastasia2 ай бұрын
@@cheriberi934 No. the facing will not stretch. It will help stabilize your neckline. If you want it to stretch, consider an elastic facing. Like bias tape but elastic.

In the finishing of the facing part after ironing are you sewing the interface to the 1/8in allowance?
@aysenurozturk245 Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the video, it is super helpful but I have a question. Is it okay if we don't make any changes at the back? Do we have to cut the back even if it's a little? I'm new at sewing so I really don't know much, I'd be glad if you could just answer :)
@SewAnastasia11 ай бұрын
Basically you need to blend it into the neckline at any point that you want.
@jasminesp62819 ай бұрын
This was my exact question as I love the back of the dress I intend to make a deep V neck line but it's a key whole back so i didn't want to alter the clasp at the top back to much now I feel more confident to add a v neck line as it was a full coverage for the chest as it was a high neckline

Can you make the facing less wide? Or what if working with say t-shirt fabric? How would you finish the neckline?
@SewAnastasia Жыл бұрын
A 2 inch wide facing is standard. You can make it smaller if u want. A t shirt has a binding on it.
