The Carving Comb is a tool with three features; The comb, the 50% cut blade and the 100% cut blade.
It was designed by Donald Scott originally for Paul Mitchel and now Donald has developed his design further more in his own name.
Donald's idea was to be able to use it with a scissor at the same time, giving the stylist a total of 4 tools; Comb, 100% cut razor, 50% cit razor and a pair of scissors.
This style of cutting is called Precision Freeform, this term was coined by Donald Scott him self.
A great combination to use with the Carving Comb is the Donald Scott NYC Liquid Tool Glide. It's a spray to put on the hair while you are cutting an the razor glides perfectly through the hair. It doesn't weigh the hair down and has great results when drying.
