Very good video and good to show the potential problems, but ideally use a dial gauge after fitting the new rotor to check for run-out. Rotate the rotor between all possible fitting positions to choose the minimum run-out. Obviously the hub mating face also needs to be totally clean so it’s wise to use a wire brush before fitting the rotor. Doing this prevents brake vibration. For those without a dial gauge and magnetic mount the workaround is to remove and refit the rotor to the next position if there’s vibration, and that might need to be repeated four times to get the best setting. But you need to be sure which rotor/rotors are causing the vibration. New rotors need to be thoroughly cleaned using brake cleaner to remove protective oil/lacquer film, but not if using coated rotors.

Tip: the loose tire under the car is a good idea as a back up for sure but it needs to be up closer the front where you're working. It doesnt really do anything next to a tire supporting the car.

You should still check the brake fluid level in the reservoir because when you pull back the brake pistons, the fluid level in the reservoir must have increased.

You are correct my friend. One of the steps I took was to open up the cap on the brake fluid reservoir so that I could keep an eye on the fluid level as well as any significant air bubbles.

Why do u disconnect battery before ?

It’s always good practice to disconnect battery when you work on a car. For my specific car, there were people saying that the brake piston would compress if the key is near the car so I just disconnected the battery. Some cars will freak out if you disconnect the battery because it’ll reset the ecu meaning the car will need to relearn everything.
