Dude well done well detailed, if somebody can't change the o2 sensor after seeing this video then they are incompetent, well done very well described, it's the first video that comes up when you search, now I know why it's:#1 💪

Hey, which way do you turn it to disconnect or take off from the screw in side? The turbo i believe is what its connected to.... Correct me if i am wrong! 😊

How did you unplug the connector? As you said it’s really hard and doesn’t move at all. Was trying to find a thing that can be flex and pinched.
@canonmikho23703 жыл бұрын
The connection for the o2 sensor itself? There should be a prong on the connector, kind of like a safety clip. You have to lift that safety clip, which allows you to pull out the connector
@kenyama52193 жыл бұрын
@@canonmikho2370 Thanks for the reply :) I know you explain the safety clip. I moved to “up” position. My question was after you unlocked it how did you pull them apart because to me it is almost impossible to pull them with 4 fingers especially at such location. I was wondering if you used any tools to grab those two connectors or something.
@ceez33172 жыл бұрын
@@kenyama5219 did you figure it out? I got a 2014 and I can’t remove the clip at all even with the safety clip up
@kenyama52192 жыл бұрын
Yea I did. It’s while ago and can’t explain exactly but if you jiggle the right tab it comes off pretty smooth without requiring so much effort, so try to push/pull tabs :)

@@kenyama5219did any of y’all figure out how to remove it? I don’t think “jiggle” was the right word cause I’m jiggling it and not much is moving

My question is do you have to rest it the codes or should the check engine lights turn off automatically because unfortunately for mine it’s still on
@canonmikho23705 жыл бұрын
You can reset them yourself. If it's still on, it can sometimes take up to a few miles for it to turn off.

@n-vanb89082 жыл бұрын
@@illmavic247 no, it was a real pain. Nobody could figure it out. Eventually I found a small gas leak past the injectors. I began driving it insanely smoothly without pulsating the gas pedal. This did the trick.
@n-vanb89082 жыл бұрын
@@illmavic247 oh and check the Pcv valve on top of the engine. If there is a leak, it’ll trigger p0171. P2097 was due to by driving habits and cleared when I drove steadily on the gas
