Very excited for Xel to come out. One question about scripting tho. Is there any way, either in Kismet or in the normal script editor to make it so the enemy AI hero chases for a certain player 1 hero or site/town? For example I want a certain AI hero to immediately target a town so the AI hero will rush towards the town no matter if the AI hero is weaker then the defending army of the town. I haven't found a way to do this in the normal script editor and I do not mind using something more advanced in the advanced editor.

Well you can use the "MoveTo" command to send AI hero directly where you want it to be but I am not sure if you can SET the AI hero to ride/attack player town on its own. But I will take closer look and let you know if there is another option for it.

wow thanks for the quick reply! But I already tried the move to command but I do not want it to be a scene. I want it to be an overwall script for the entire game. So for example the game starts with an AI hero right behind the player 1's hero that will chase him/her every turn. Hopefully there is another way. If there isn't thank you for trying.

Whether you found a better way or not. I found a way buy using multiple scenes activating on different turns. Every scene is activated by an event with each having condition that the other events are not active. so it's multiple turns controlling the AI hero. off course if there was a way for the AI to move on its own that would be even better. But I'm happy with the outcome.

Nice! And yes, scenes are the way to go here. I was thinking about giving the player somehow "high priority" for AI but that would require C++ coding which we are not allowed here. Just Kismet scripting.

I found this in hero archetype: worldofheroes.cz/images/woh_images/homam7/editor/H7_AI.jpg Maybe you can set "Objective army" to the Human player so AI will chase it nefariously :) But I havent tested it yet.

Not yet. WPU is my "testing" project to see how much can be moded via H7 editor. So far except custom music and some hardcoded stuff almost everything is possible. So if WPU and Xel town will be a success I will try to recreate Inferno and Sanctuary once again for Heroes VII. But it is a very distant future and who knows... maybe we get Heroes VIII before I even start with those factions :)

That's great to hear :) ! I'd love to get into modding but the editor is beyond my understanding x) ! I hope Ubisoft makes an 8th with the same artstyle and gameplay as heroes 7 but this time doesn't make us pick between factions and gives them all (choosing between inferno and dungeon was the worst thing for me) i'll be sure to check your channel and website often, I'd love to see all your work flourish into playable inferno and sanctuary (i'd have loved to see the Shanriya) :D !! Keep up the amazing work, i feel like JVC would be proud :D !!!

Sadly, you can use only the music and sounds from the game.
