I love h3, but h4 music is superb! But in terms of mechanics H3 and H2 are 2 best in series.

3:10:39 "The mountain song" has the same melody as in "Fairy Tale - Strong Bonds in Mind". Both are great songs using it differently.

Why they renamed "Heroes of Might and Magic" to "Might and Magic: Heroes" is a great example of not understanding why the previous games were so successful.

I am sitting in my room and making my childhood dream come true - creating a fantasy board game for my children, friends, and everybody who wants to enjoy it. And at the same time I am listening to best fantasy soundtrack ever created. I was fortunate enough to see Paul Anthony Romero in concert and it brought so much joy to me 20 years later, making me reminisce about my own childhood where these fantasy worlds were something I would lose myself in for hours... This is an amazing feeling that makes us realize that it's all within ourselves.

In Heroes VI and Heroes VII soundtracks there are motives that sounds like straight from Witcher 1 ;D It is no rip off and by no means it's a bad thing, just similar/the same instruments used in some moments as in W1 that are giving me powerful nostalgia punch.

I'm so disappointed these guys left the game support with memory leaks and basically the game is too resources hungry for it's quality. It's generally pretty nice and full of good ideas but also full of bugs, not working abilities, potential crashes and really nasty memory management, sadly. Devs would do best just to release the source code as an open source and let ppl fix this hidden gem. AI is also written horribly with CPU players taking ages to move and doing silly decisions. Love-hate relationship here for this game. I'd love to see Heroes re-work on latest UE 5 with all that Nanite and AI improvements it's offering. Would be an absolute killer.

Hi!! Please tell me, I created a map for HEROES 7 by about 80%, the map is very large and apparently I have reached the limit of units, the map has stopped running (one of the log errors is Runaway loop detected (over 1000000 iterations) PLEASE TELL ME HOW to SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, I spent a lot of time creating this map and I wouldn't want to throw it in the trash! [!!!]

I'm still bitter after all these years that they got the track order wrong on the homm 2 cd version. The Necromancer theme IS the "barbarian" theme, this is clear from the "sad" tone of the whole piece.

I didn't play Heroes games after 5 because they looked like they had less stuff going on than the previous ones, but the music sounds good. They went pretty hard on referencing older games in it.

Each game soundtrack is nothing but simply amazing. But Heroes II & III are taking the cake for me. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's classic vibe, but I think that late 90's Paul Anthony Romero was both simple and sophisticated at the same time.

Nope, those are one that were imported into the editor. So you can import any 3D model you like and use it on a map - be it static mesh (like buildings) or dynamic one (creatures).
