How to Change DNS on Windows 10

Welcome back to another tutorial for windows 10. This time i teach you how to redirect your DNS to either Google's or OpenDns's ip or if you have your own custom DNS you prefer feel free to use that.

I connect to Internet off my Asus notebook, and I ask make I change DNS on my notebook (Wi-Fi, conncet to Internet) or I change DNS on my PC with connect on cable to Internet? And second question: I change DNS every time when I Power On Notebook or not?

I had the opposite problem. For reasons unknown my internet connection which was set to OpenDNS refused to work any longer. So although parts of Google search and KZbin worked most websites became unavailable. Reverting to receive the DNS adresses automatically from my ISP solved the problem for now.

No it will not but if you have access to the routers admin panel you can change the dns there and it will change on all devices.

+microbuilder1/kiwi_strawberry1 duenaz in some cases it could improve ping, but your lag is more based on how far away you are from the server your connecting to and what your Internet speed is, as well as who all may be using your bandwidth
