Just wanted to let everyone know, this video is legit and helped just to know the right tool to remove the caliper bolts. I have watched many others and they are not accurate bolts the come in the brake calipers. All I needed to do is change my brake pads, but this video covers everything. A+ Bro. Kimchi - what is it about pickled cabbage?!? LOVE it. A couple of things. I too installed the BrakeStop slotted and they've lasted almost 6yrs. SO worth it. Have a 03 Extended cab w/400k+ trying to get it to retirement and then a HUGE rebuild to get it back to the original condition. LOVE THAT TRUCK - we've been to hell and back numerous times and they don't make small trucks like the S10 anymore. Came on to get a 'refresher' and THIS VIDEO FAR EXCEEDS any other. Simple and TO THE POINT! GREAT JOB!!! btw I've done the brakes quite a few times and always just hung the caliper by the hose (yikes!!!) and not smart enough to go grab a bungee cord (have THOUSANDS). OMG that was priceless for me - TOTALLY forgot what I bought all those cords FOR!!!!!!!!!!

I just recently got rid of my 94 s10 pickup extended cab rwd open diff I got it like junior or senior year of highschool seeing you change the front rotor/hubs brought back memories lol I did all my brake work myself and it was my first truck that I did the work on I miss it cause it was the perfect size to just haul different shit I never towed with it but I helped my sister and her boyfriend renovate their first restaurant with it ( hauling supplies, scaffolding etc) oh well.

That ‘grease cap’ is actually the hub cap. Think about it. People started calling the ‘wheel covers’, hub caps. It’s a cap that covers the outside of the hub. Another bit of information on this style of hub/rotor is, if you were greasing the bearing and needed to remove the inner bearing with the inner grease seal. You would remove the outer bearing, put the castle nut back on just a few threads, and then pull the entire rotor out til the inner bearing made contact with the nut, then quickly push the rotor in about two inches and then pull sharply out. The inner bearing and seal would remain on the spindle. Also, remove all grease from the spindle which is not suppose to have grease on it. Angle, you did an excellent job here, thanks for sharing.
