Stop if your doing this at home the large aluminium block is slotted and is used to set up camber. You can buy very inexpensive alignment pins. Undo one of the small bolts first whilst the other two bolts are still tight. Fit the first alignment pin, it just screws in to the vacant hole. Now repeat with the second small bolt, then remove the big bolt. The pins are tapered and are designed to hold alignment of the lower arm. MK5 golf is the same.

no alignment tool was fitted for keeping the tracking right and im sure the torque settings are way too low on the bolts

Very nice but the left side is way harder, it would have been nice to show how to avoid the blockage caused by the DSG gearbox. Also you don't mention that the bolts are one time use, and if you use power tools they can break.

This seems dangerously disengenuous to not show what it takes on the other side. Customers who are unprepared may drop wrong parts too far, damage pan, etc.
