How to Change Hose on Booster Pump

Thanks for the vid. I have a question. If there is a crack in the tubing to the booster pump, will it make a lowed hissing noise when it's running or will it stop working completely? Thanks for your help.

Not sure about the sound but the normal sound of the pump would probably be affected. The main point is if you have a crack in the tubing, then replace the tubing.

@@truelightpoolsllc4441 Thanks. The pool guy found a crack in the main line connected to the filter. Since it's essentially a closed system, I was wondering if a crack in any of the pipes would affect the sound/function of the booster pump. Thanks.

@@anitarushlow4022 Yes it will because of bubbles being pushed through the system.

@@truelightpoolsllc4441 Thanks for your reply. Sadly, my pool guy failed to explain that I didn't need to buy a complete pump...that a new motor and fixing the pipe leak might have fixed it. At least he could have tried. I think he failed to use his critical thinking. Ugh!
