I have a 1980 MGB with this carburetor and when I remove the idle Jets they look like nothing from the video. Is it possible that the previous owner remove the internal part and just screwed in the caps? This Saturday I will remove them again just to make sure there's nothing in there.

would you know the proper idle (fast and regular) speed adjustment on the 32/36 weber DGEV carb? Would you know why my 32/36 weber floods in the secondary barrel? (At first, it flooded both barrels until I adjusted the idle mixture screw 2 turns out from bottom.. Now it just floods in the secondary.)

my inline 6 has a horrible idle with this brand new carb, do i have to just change idle jets or do i have to adjust the main and secondary jets

+Lalo Herrera I have the same problem. Did yours ever get sorted out? It idles crazy high with the choke on, and with the choke off, it just stalls out. I can't find a "sweet spot" with choke adjustment to get it to idle low AND stay running. Pull that thing out (engaging the choke) and it idles at like 2 grand. Same problem I had with the factory carb which I replaced with a weber to solve that problem.

+8digitPDX honestly these carbs are hard to tune. i bought a jet kit and was able to tune it but car still idled rough and i had to advanced the timing way too much. so i just went back to my oem carb and all the problems went away

+8digitPDX try buying a jetting kit and try different jets and try to adjust the fuel/air mixtures screws also and u might get some better results
