How to change Mitsubishi Lancer CVT Transmission Fluid | Lancer CVT Oil Flush

Great effort Haseeb bhai. I want to add one thing. Manual suggests a drill before draining oil, i.e. to shift gears multiple times from R to L1 while brakes pressed to make it hot and drain properly🎉🎉

So. You need 9-10 litres approx.. or 10 litres just in case u need top up so keep that in mind. This is the right method and as per factory service manual so fo follow this and do the proper flush if u want full power out of ur cvt gear box. It will also extend its life

@@nayyershagufta204 flush out kixx and pour recommended genuine Mitsubishi atf sp3 fluid. Other fluids may fail your gear box in some time, so highly not recommended!

@@journeywithhaseeb CVT should be using CVT fluid based on mechanic advice. I have been using ATF SP3... There was some slipping. Now I install an oil cooler after flushing the old fluid.

@@journeywithhaseeb we have same car. My car is just year 2006. CVT... The fluid should be CVT so you should do it all over but with CVT Fluid. SP3 might work but could fail fast in case your car has other issues like overheating. It is a very expensive repair. My 1st transmission was changed. 2nd CVT now has slipping issues. It can be fixed without replacement. They call it a dialysis process.
