Thank you! I got a Z125 last year and will look to do my own oil changes this year. Your video is very informative, appreciate you showing exactly how to do this.

Japanese bike. Always use metric. As a fellow Asian, you should know that.

When is the first time you should change the oil for the bike when it's brand new?
@SleevezMedia

The first service should be 500 miles. But if you ride hard then you should change it often because these are high revving engines.

so after the first service is it still every 500 miles to get a oil change or every 1k

you think as a guy who is 6'2.. Is this a good bike to get as a first bike? I just want something to learn on and ride to work as well as just go on some rides with friends.. If not this what would you suggest?

If you haven’t already decided for yourself, I wouldn’t. I’m 6’3 and have owned 3 Z125s. Great bikes that are fun to mess around on but as a first bike you want to feel comfortable on it, I’m crammed on these bikes and the only reason I have them is for stunting and teaching new people the basics of riding. I would go with a Z400 or something that size as a first bike that you will not be scared of, but will still have plenty of power to do all your commuting

@@nicholasburgin5359 what do you think of a MT-07? I know it a bit powerful but I've seen, that the throttle is very smooth.

@@PtchersWR that’s a great bike to start on, however it is on the larger end of what I would recommend for someone starting out. If you’ve ridden dirt bikes before I’d say the mt07 would be a great choice. If you have no experience at all, normally wouldn’t recommend anything larger than a Ninja/z400 or possibly even a Ninja/z650. The reason why I say the Mt07 would be better for someone whose had a little experience on dirt bikes is because that bike is pretty damn punchy it’s got a lot of torque. The throttle is quite a bit less forgiving than other bikes of a similar class like the ninja 650. If you really want an mt07, by all means get it. Even if you’re a “wet behind the ears” beginner, just take everything I said into account and decide what will be best for you. I think the mt07 would be a great choice for a more disciplined beginner, if you’re the type to “send it” on everything you do, skip this bike and get something smaller. Just don’t listen to the people that will tell you to get a 600.. Some of the more well known Moto YoutTubers have videos on beginner bikes if you want more suggestions

@@blk9mm the only reason I was thinking of getting a higher CC bike is I don't wanna get "bored" of a lower cc bike then have to upgrade you know what I mean? I was thinking of a Z400 as well cuz it's not to crazy in power but it's enough to go on the highway with no issues and everything. Idk I just don't wanna have to keep getting bikes

Just respect the power of what ever bike you get. I’d say a 600 atleast
