I prefer watching a real video in which mistakes are made rather than those ones in which it looks like changing a piston takes 10 minutes, so thank you for the real time experience. However, consider that typically torque wrench manufacturers suggest that you grab the wrench by the handle, otherwise the torque applied will change. Unless you haven’t done it already, I suggest that you read the manual of the bike or some instructions in that toolbox, because i think you will find that piece of information. Keep these videos coming!

Def will do that moving forward! Also the manual oddly enough has no information on the oil change process as they only have a video on their KZbin - they do however state the type of oil though but no amount or otherwise information has

Nothing better than a „non commercial“ video of the bike and the work on it. I hope you will do a race video of you anytime soon. The speed is there and I would love to hear your feedback about a race day on the bike and how the battery handles that…

11.5.23 Shelby, great video on how to change oil. Will you be doing any racing videos? How is the Real Estate market there in Boise? Prices still high and going up? Here in Oregon where I am at rent and house prices in my opinion are way to high. To much homeless for this reason.

When I did the oil change last week I had the exact same problem with the screws.. I was beiing very cautious when tightening them and managed to strip two of them.. Even used a different toolset for a better fit… To me the screws seem supersoft, on one of the skidplate screws the whole head ripped off! Curious if you have any problems in the future, after your video I get the feeling there is something wrong with the screws..

i just love how people were saying electric is much better because of no maintenance, when you still need to do gear oil changes on em. i dont think i will ever own one cause there very expense to buy brand new but i geuss it would be cool to have one cause my neighbors could never complain about noise haha

That and the fact that it’s definitely easier to go faster, longer and safer than on my gas back (for me at least) :)

@@ShelbyPaget yeah i totally get that, im only 21 so i dont mind how much my gas race bike beats me up when riding on the track lol, but i know when i get older i will proably be weaker haha

@@ShelbyPageti just got to the part of the video where you stripped it, i recommend using a little 1/4 inch ratchet and go by feel with thighting drain plugs, they strip out so easily that its better to go by feel, even if its a torque wrench they can be off

@@camdenbrickett2923 def a good call! Thx for the tip! :)

It's a 15 minute job. Compare that to a gas bike were you have to cleave the entire engine and rebuild it once/twice a year. A maintenance work that takes atleast 12 hours.

Thanks for this, what triangle stand is that youre using?

That drain plug is horrible. Mine is completly stripped. I Removed the whole cover to drain the oil instead.
