I’ve changed the oil in this vehicle many times and I like your idea of using a rag for the oil filter it usually drips everywhere. I’m also amazed at how effortless it was for you to put that oil filter back on with one hand that thing is a huge pain to put back on for me at times . Great video!

I've never filled up my oil filter first before replacing it. I didn't realize this was common practice. Ty.
@RomelDamocles0102 Жыл бұрын
Yes my friend always put oil before you install your oil filter any kinds of vehicle are the same.
@MrBerroth Жыл бұрын
It's a good practice but I have known many who haven't and haven't had any problems. On the side oil filters, like the Acadia, I'm not going to prefill it but on my trucks that is straight up and down, I would put a little in.

I don't know if you want to tighten your oil plug that tight, using a double wrench leverage and two hands strength Sir! GMC torque specs is 18-20 pds. Stripped that bolt, then you have major problems! Oil filter also! Just saying..😏
@RomelDamocles01023 жыл бұрын
My friend thank you for your advice but ever since I have my vehicle I'm the one doing all the maintenance I don't have any problem it doesn't mean I use two wrench and both hands I going to put all my strength my friend
