Maybe for the future! If we get enough support from our viewers we would ideally like to get a Grand Caravan in and completely strip it down and show videos for the removal of just about every part on the car. However, that costs a considerable amount, and we're not at the stage support-wise yet on KZbin (unfortunately!!) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! I changed my brake pads and rotors and had a terrible time trying to take off the caliper... I thought it was frozen or seized and considered taking it to the car dealership to repair. After scratching my head thinking what the hell do I do to get it off.. then I realized the fkn emergency brake was on... saved me hundreds of dollars lol

Why did you not a-line the piston notch to the pad pin. It should fit in.

Hey there! Thank you for your question. This video is on a MK5 (2008-2021) Grand Caravan which have the rotating rear piston. Maybe you are thinking of the older model? But thank you for asking, we have now updated the video details to specify that it's for the MK5. @@YouWrench The 2019 rear piston has cutout on its face that is used with a special tool to turn it back into its bore. This cutout also matches up to a small pin on the brake pad. Very few videos are aware of this. Take a close look. Thanks for responding.

My 2008 Town & Country has the pin on the brake pads and I had to line up the piston notches before it could be assembled. The driver’s side worked good. The passenger side didn’t. The piston was to far away from the pad to work. I turned it 180 degrees out and the caliper would not go on, because it was too tight on the pads ( about 1/16 of an inch). Tomorrow I will file / grind one of the pads down about 1/16 of an inch. Only thing I can think of.

My 2013 brake peddle is mushy after i replaced the rear brake pads. I pump the brake peddle and the emergency brake peddle many many times but it doesn't seem to re adjust back to normal ! What is the truck ?

It sounds like you may have got some air bubbles in the system. I would try bleeding the brakes first of all and see if you get air bubbles coming through the line/s during the bleed.
