Most push in rear calipers can be pushed in by hand if you had your wheaties in the morning

Just a tip from me. I ended up removing my emergency brake shoes and linkage. Over time one of the emergency shoes broke loose and spun around and wedged against the other shoe causing my wheel to lock up sporadically. I thought it was a different problem in the differential. It was the shoe flying around inside. Unfortunately it was to late after hearing it a couple times and I had to have my differential worked on because it caused a major problem.

That ending made me laugh out loud xD Still keeping my fingers crossed that you show how to change those ebrake shoes.

I completely forgot about that! I had to go back and see what you were talking about. Made myself laugh. I do hope to get around to making a video for the shoes, but your fingers might get sore if you keep them crossed until then. Thanks for watching and for giving me a laugh!

Ive been looking for fox shocks for mine, it has a 2" lift, how did you found those back shocks? Or if you have the part number. Thank you.
@RockyXTV6 жыл бұрын
They changed/upgraded these shocks a little after I got mine. They are for a non lifted Jeep Wrangler, but can be modified for the Liberty, not hard to do at all. All you have to do is push out the mounting tabs and tubes on the ends of the new shock and push in the ones from your Liberty and they bolt right in. Here is a link, thanks for watching! - goo.gl/ciR5tB

That sigh at the end.
@RockyXTV6 жыл бұрын
It was the sigh of sheer frustration and near defeat... All ended well though, after some cussing and tool throwing I felt much better! Thanks for watching!

Man.. you had TON of brake material left on those rear pads
@RockyXTV5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but they were very old and had no "bite" left in them. Also I had to get some broken E-brake parts out of there, the noise was driving me crazy... Thanks for watching!
