No! Just use the serpentine belt tool like the video shows. Save the time of taking off the idler and get the tool in the video!

No, unless you need to change it out. Then take it off after you have taken off the belt properly. It would be probably more difficult to change out a bet that way actually.

I really wish they kept making that Gatorback belt. Occasionally they appear on FB marketplace and EBay. Make sure it’s the right size before buying!

I think one of my pulleys is wobbly and it's a bit squealy. Are they easy to change?

Yes, many of them are only 1 bolt. Some of them do not require a pulley puller like the idle pulley. That one is very easy to change and can go bad over time.
