Luis Rodriguez Hello Luis if by calibrating you mean making sure the gap on your spark plug is correct for your vehicle than no. You do not need to “calibrate” your plugs. If your purchase specific plugs for your vehicle from an after market parts company they should have the correct plugs(Gapped correctly/ “calibrated”) for you given that you give them your correct FULL vehicle information. ie Make model year and possibly how many liters your cylinders are (1.52.5,6.1,Etc.). Easiest way is to give them your VIN number so they can search your vehicle without any other hassle. Thank you for commenting I hope this reply answers your question.

rafael corniel Hey Rafael, thank you for the comment unfortunately our account is not monitored so I haven’t seen your comment until now. My apologies for this late reply. If you are having rough idle, that can cause a misfire or knock code. Spark plug maintenance would be recommended for misfire because dirty plugs can lead to bad spark. causing misfire or knock. if you haven’t changed spark plugs in over 30k miles I would do so. If you do change the plugs and you still have misfire issues than it could be a coil pack. If you have a generic OBDII Scanner you. Can see which Cylinder that misfire is coming from and can change the corresponding coil. The cylinder firing order for you 06 Honda SI IS 4,3,2,1 from left to the right facing your vehicle.
