My '07 civic is still running, 345,000 km later. Both front speakers died in a matter of months of each other. I found this video and some speaker on sale at Canadian Tire. Your video made the install super easy. Its always tricky figuring out where the hooks and pins and buttons and clips are hidden, but you made this a 30 minute project.

345 “km” is not that much. My 07 civic is at 412k miles and I have one speaker left but sounds like shit lol.

@ihatelimpbizkit from what I've read, yeah it seems to be. Something about water eventually working is way into the doors and cooking the speakers.

I found your videos trying to figure out the steering wheel controls three years ago. Have used a handful of your vid‘s since and shown some people your channel. Glad to see you’re still making content my guy.

Question for anybody in the comments: My front speakers started going in and out, sometimes working, sometimes not. Eventually they stopped working altogether. Does this sound like something that could be fixed by installing new speakers, or is it some kind of wiring issue elsewhere? I don’t want to buy and install new speakers if it ain’t gonna work, know what I mean? Thanks in advance!
@jptheinstallguy4 ай бұрын
You might want to take a door panel off and check the condition of the speaker to make sure it's not blown its always easier to troubleshoot 1st before you spend money but it sounds like your speakers may be blown and if that's the case changing speakers will fix the problem
@Lopfff4 ай бұрын
@@jptheinstallguy Thank you so much. The speakers both went off and on at the same time, and then both went out at the same time. Does that sound like blown speakers?
