Thanks for the video. I'm not much into reading the instructions 😅... you made that easy and simple. Just bought my echelon 2hrs ago and put 150 rds through it. Awesome weapon. Just mounted a Holosun 507C green x2 series no instructions needed it fit perfectly and a streamlight TLR-1. now time to take it apart and clean it. Next weekend should allow more time for more rounds. Great video. Thanks.

I can confirm....there is no manual with the Echelon. Odd....but I suppose it is the new normal with the availability of information on the internet.

Springfield says not to remove or install backstrap with slide installed. Any reason for that?

I think it’s their way of making sure you're working on an unloaded pistol.

Small backstrap doesn’t fit, no matter how many times i smack it in. I just went back to the medium size

If it was sold to you as a new pistol, I would reach out to the place where you bought it and let them know the backstraps are missing. If they won’t help, then I would reach out to Springfield. Let me know how you make out.
