Nicely done. I would recommend testing that the batteries and connections are working prior to securing the top deck. That way, if there's a problem, you won't need to unscrew the top deck again.

Nice clear video. Worth a mention is which battery E300 uses. I think a better way of not losing/getting confused over screws is to tape them to the cover beside the hole they go into. I acquired a RAZR 300 yesterday; It looks like fun. Love the chunky wheels! I'm thinking the batteries can be 'upgraded' 7Ah to 9Ah & still fit the case. L151mm W65mm D98mm

I modified my e300 to where it's now 36v 800watts. I recently went to 2 - 18v lithium batteries but did not connect the circuit breaker when re-wiring the batteries and notice that the batteries start losing power immediately. Do I need to connect the circuit breaker to have longer battery life?
@jonp67985 жыл бұрын
Hi, I know it's been a long time but I;ve stumbled across this unanswered. If you've modified it to run on 36v you must have changed the controller, batteries and motor. If you haven't that's your problem. You can't just change the voltage the system runs on without doing all that. If you have changed all that then there's nothing left of the original system apart from the frame so speak to where you got all that from.

"This is a pretty easy process...it'll take you approximately15 minutes from start to finish." Kind of true but there is a problem he did not mention. The connectors at the end of wires to connect with the battery is welded dead. That makes most people, especially teenagers, won't be able to do the job so they just abandon their scooters to the trash dump. In order to replace the battery, it take more than 15 minutes because you either use a welder iron to melt the welder off to remove it, or cut the wire off, then use a new connector (not provided) to connect with the battery's terminals. Neither way is a layman's job. And if you choose to use the second way, you can change your battery at most three times before you cut completely off the wire.

@VRUAN2 жыл бұрын
@@Rob-el8ti As long as it's polarized 24 volt, it will work. The problems are you can't use any of the 24v lithium batteries from wireless tools because there are no terminals on the batteries to connect with. If you can modify the scooter's wiring configuration so that the end of wires can be inserted into the 24v lithium batteries' positive and negative then you may succeed.

* Scorpio It is most likely because your e300 speed controller and or motor can’t handle 9ah
@jonp67985 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm probably going to do this as I have some lying around. The ah rating is just the capacity so it won't be that (sorry Oliver). You're not indicating where the clicking is coming from. Few options, the batteries could be moving around, the batteries could be badly matched (12v wired in series to make 24v) so check both of those. Need more info as to where the clicking is coming from.
