How to change the corner markers on a Porsche (turn signals for 911/991, 981/982 Cayman, Boxster)

The easiest and most important mod you can do for your Porsche. This is applicable for the 991 & 991.2 generation of the 911, and the 981 & 982 generation of the Boxster/Cayman/718. It’s also basically the same for the 992 generation of 911, but I can’t guarantee the process for older models.
The 4-door Porsche models are similar in concept, but a lot harder to do. For Cayenne & Panamera, you have to pull down the wheel well trim (insulation), which can be a pain. I might be remembering incorrectly anyway... I only did those models once, many years ago.
Disclaimer: the amber reflectors are required by DOT or some other government agency for import to the USA. After it’s imported, my understanding is that you can modify it as you like. But you will be REMOVING a REFLECTIVE & illuminating device and replacing it with an illuminating device. So your car will not be as visible at night time.
