It's great to see your son getting involved with working on cars. I can't get my 13 y/o to even get interested😞. I'm in the garage everyday working on my cars

On my 1999 Boxste, I removed belt to install new water pump. On reinstallation of the belt, I noticed the AC pulley could rotate freely. Is this normal? Car has 40k miles.

I probably has a clutch on it so it doesn’t spin the compressor when the AC isn’t on

Hi what size e torx did you need for the small bolt and the big bolt on the two idler pulleys ?
@TheEddysGarage2 жыл бұрын
I think it was a 10 or 12 but can’t remember exactly. I suggest getting a set because there are lots of these bolts on the car

@@TheEddysGarage thanks. I have a set but a DIY guide said I need an e13 and E15 which as far as I know doesn't exist 😅, I have E12 E14 E16 in my set

Normally I wouldn't mind and would just try it out, but my pulley exploded on the side of a mountain and I had to leave the car there 😭 so want to go back armed with the right tools and get it fixed so I can bring her home 🤞

@@meldonte88 well it sounds like a fun place to work on a car. Hopefully you can get it sorted easily
