HOW TO CHANGE TOILET HANDLE TO PUSH BUTTON FLUSH - Viva Sanitary Skylo

All about how to change a standard lever type toilet flush to a new push button flush using a Viva Sanitary Push button flush unit. I'll show you how to turn the water off to your toilet. How to remove the water feed, remove the toilet cistern, remove the old toilet syphon unit and fit a new push button flush, the push button and fit it all back together with a new toilet doughnut (or donut) and get the toilet all back up and running. Help. Super video and can fit the button assembly using the sheath. There isn’t a similar sheath for the handle. Mine systern seems to be the same as yours. The hole is exactly the same diameter as the outside diameter of the handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will need to use the toilet iminantly

Wish we'd kept this style toilet and not replaced it with one of those back to wall, dual button flush with toilet seat that has 'blind fittings'. Everything's hidden which looks neat but is a fiddle for a DIYer. I suppose ball cocks and pull chains come with their own problems but would love one of those old fashioned pull chain. Thanks for the video, very helpful as always. I've set my full flush to max and the half flush about halfway. After pressing the half flush button, the flush stops immediately after depressing. Is that normal? Also, in the bag with the Viva flush valve had a small blue moulded plastic component about the size of my little finger. Almost looks like a filter or something. Not sure where or if this goes somewhere? Any thoughts?

The button you used is the same as the one my parents have had fitted but it’s keeping the toilet seat from staying up . Can I replace it with a flatter push button flush ?

If only it was that easy in real life. Usually I'm lying on the floor squashed between the pan and the bath trying to cut the bolts off because they are so rusty that the wing nuts won't move. Then you hope that some dingbat hasn't siliconed the cistern to the wall and the siphon to the cistern. Happy days.

Hi there, I can’t post a picture to explain.. but my old cistern has an inlet coming in on the right which I gather is the the full pipe from the mains, and on the left I see an exit pipe which I believe must be the overflow as it’s heading through the wall outside. If I fit the viva side fill and the new viva push button setup, can the left outlet (overflow I believe) be closed off then? I’m a diy-errrr, would appreciate any assistance, thanks
