If it says couldn't find warcraft do these steps: 1: To make it easier, drag the folder into your desktop 2: double click users (On wvs) 3: double click your PC name not the folder called "Public" 4: double click desktop 5: Click the folder you put the game in 6: Click Ok 7: Restart wvs That's it!, love helping :D

I got it working with 1.27 version and its great but where can you download 1.29 for the switch version? All the other downloads are the""Public Test Setup" which dont work with the switch. You need to do it with blizzard online and I dont have my keys anymore.

Also all this stuff comes up when I open the wvs Reading Config.ini... Found The Frozen Throne in folder: D:\Documents\Downloads\Warcraft III ERROR: File not found, wvs\help.dat ERROR: File not found, wvs\unzdll.dll ERROR: File not found, wvs\zipdll.dll This will cause the program to become very unstable and not function right. Please read readme.txt to get help fixing theese problems.

What OS are you using? Have you tried running as administrator? How about disabling antivirus and firewall? If there's further problems, it might be your PC that's not compatible with this application Or it could be the warcraft III itself. Please note this patch, I tried it with cr*cked Warcraft

Hey Jansenn, i need your help. those patches you dragged into the "wvs" folder, i dragged my 1.26 patch into the folder but when i click change version, it only shows 1.20 to switch to. your patches look like books stacked on top of eachother the icon for it anyway, how can i get the right patches, off google?

I think from google is fine. What's really problematic is the wvs itself not the patch. I found many wvs not working for me, but this one works. So I placed it in KZbin.

I followed all ur steps, downloaded Switcher, and download 1.26a patch ... put the zip in wvs folder. Then I tried to change my 1.24e to 1.26a ... everything runs fine, except when I double-clicked on the 1.26 file ... OK - the "please wait" bar seemed to run super quick, that it just popped up for a split second. And when I try the game, still 1.24.4 :(( Note: I only download the 1.26a patch like u say in the description Please help me!!!

Try to change it, then restart your PC. 1 of the comment below shows that it changes after restarting. If it doesn't I'm not sure what's wrong,I haven't got any errors in changing Warcraft III and I'm not playing it anymore, I'm playing DotA 2 now.

( Just follow the video) Use wvs standalone and the patch that you wanted e.g. 1.26a or 1.27a etc. in theory what's your version right now doesn't really matter because it can change any version into the version that you wanted like 1.26a. I myself have never tried from version 1.07. It's worth a shot!! :D

Unfortunately, it's impossible. Blizzard has forced you to install 30GB version of the game (aka Reforged) if you attempt to download patches higher than 1.27b. However, forums like Hive Workshop has some backed up versions for 1.31 that can be downloaded free, and the game is still playable without Reforged auto-update thing.

The 'wvs.exe' won't run? cause it says that the file is not found? or the patches aren't available in the list? If the wvs can't run then try to reply me and send me ( through commend) exactly what the error says. That kinds of error got many kinds like File not found, wvs\zipdll.dll or such.
