Great instructions thank you. I was wondering if it’s normal for the water to have a soapy feel and taste strange? It wasn’t clear which side was in or out on my system due to wear so I made an educated guess, could they be the wrong way and thus causing the soapy slippery water?

Where can I get the housing spanner from. I have to same filters a the ones your using. Cannot find spanner to fit my housing.

Housing spanner is too big that I bought online. I cannot undo either canister as they are completely smooth on the outside! There's nothing to grip! Can I undo them somehow from the base of the cartridges? HELP!!

A pair of big channel locks , or a pipe wrench, or an oil filter wrench

Mine just won't turn at all. Completely stuck. What do i do?

You need to makes sure that the water is turned off and that your water filter tap at the sink is open, if there is any pressure on the system at all you will not be able to open the housings. If this fails and you are sure that the feed water is shut off, you may want to remove the tubing from the elbow and take the system to a workbench? Let us know if you need any further help please.

Yes it is that is carbon fines that you are seeing, it will clear after 20-40 seconds

The length of time between servicing the system should not make a difference. Sometimes the housings are tightened up too much when the cartridges are installed,.
