You forgot to mention pressing both buttons down simultaneously, a green light on the shifter will indicate the battery is good. :)
@vongdong102 жыл бұрын
For any one out there that wants to know. If you want to know how much battery is left in the Di2 system then just press and hold the 2 shift buttons on either shifter and there will be a light indicator where the indent at the front, above the lever is. I know GC has struggled to show it working in the past videos

From the future here: it’s Aug 4, 2024. I have 10,500 miles on my BMC which I bought new in Feb 2023. Batteries still show green when I tap both side-shifters together to test. The batteries last a LONG time in Ultegra Di2.

yea no lie because the shift literally pulls such little draw from the battery

if i did get this, i would prob hard wire it to the battery since it saves power consumption and gives you more shifting cycles
@GCPerformance182 жыл бұрын
hell no, then u got ot buy two more di2 wires, and run it all the way down to the battery, the trade off is so smal to replace those every 2 years or so.... there is no performacne gain plugging directly in

I've got the R8100 and love it. However, one thing I haven't worked out is how do you change modes without having to use the app. You have M, S1, and S2. It would be great if you could change modes from the hoods. If you know how, could you do a video on this please
@GCPerformance182 жыл бұрын
what dop u mean change modes? like the whsifting style modes?
@nickjohnston6352 жыл бұрын
@@GCPerformance18 Yes.. You have M for manual and S1 and S2. Of course you can set these up in the app and if you have a Garmin you can change the mode, but it would ideal if you could program the top button to change modes whilst riding. You may want different modes depending on the terrain or conditions etc.

How tightly does the hood fit after pulling it back? My Ultegra 8000 hood was never the same after pulling it back one time. It's floppier now. Not like factory virgin tight anymore.

Does Scott make road bike for 6'7 folks , if so what frame is that and do you ever get any in? Will Specialized ever make a Tarmac in size 62 you think?
@GCPerformance182 жыл бұрын
I don’t know for sure. I know they make a xxl but I mean it is all preference to your height. The tarmac will only be a 61. The next size up is a 64
