So helpful! My serving string just got loose and unraveled on my long bow and I'm going to try this to restore it

In my opinion, this is by far the best video on how to make a string serving. Thank you!

How do we compress the limbs on a crossbow that has a broken main string? Thanks for your help and videos.

Do you need some other type of serving for crossbows? Or is it the same

No mention of measuring the position of the D-loop, so it can be replaced without as much work to find the right place to put it...

I am a left hand shooter, does it matter which direction I twist my string and which direction the serving go?
@bowhuntordie Жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter for either. All bowstring companies make their strings with the same twists and they don't differentiate between right and left handed bows.

I prefer bcy powergrip and 62xs serving for center serving. Powergrip is the best.

One thing that was not mentioned is the string size. BCY 62XS serving come in different sizes. .021 in. or .018 in. etc. Would recommend to measure the outside diameter before you take the string serving off to check the size of the serving that's installed on the string.
